My debut novel, Sunrise, follows Javier De Barre, a young Haitian-American and top college grad. After a tragic accident, Javier embarks on a desperate journey to the South in search of a fresh start. Along the way, he confronts his grief, unfriendly towns, and financial instability. After landing a small-town job, he finds himself entangled in a dangerous web of corporate fraud and deception. He must confront ambition, integrity, and the sacrifices required to achieve his dreams.
